During the 2007-08 freeze-up season, Nan Eagleson made Freshwater Ice Protocol observations at 2 sites near the Denali Education Center (DEC). One was located on the bridge on the Parks Highway closest to the DEC. The second site was at the "beach" on the DEC property on a bend in the river a short distance from the bridge.
